This year’s asparagus night was in Germany at the Gasthof Drei Linden in Schliengen.
The Huddersfield Narrow Canal near Slaithwaite (pronounced Slathwait or Slawit but never Slaythwait; pronunciation varies) in West Yorkshire, England provided some great photo opportunities when we visited in August 2007.
The last time I went to Vienna it was in 1989 on a post-university Interrail trip with a couple of ex school acquaintances.
