Fasnacht Diary 2010 - Wednesday
Woke up with my son and went with him for a jog through town – saw various Waggis preparing their floats. Got back – my son insisted on having Waggis costume on.
At about midday with costume on, wife and son brought me to the Löwenzorn for the annual Entrecoteessen. After lunch we gathered in Gemsberg and marched through the Gässli past the committee eventually stopping at the Barbarakeller. After that it was through the old town towards the Münster and a stop at the Bebbikeller.
After the annual spaghetti dinner at Löwenzorn my stomach was starting to play up and I was doubting whether I would make the whole thing. We got to a cliquekeller on Holbeinplatz where had a cup of tea and just sat outside before we marched back to the Löwenzorn to meet the Stamm. Together with the Stamm we went through Steinen before eventually landing again at the Bebbikeller. I had a coke which seemed to sort me out.
The Stamm departed and the Runzle eventually marched down to the river where we dropped off the Ladäärne and had a small apéro before heading to the Löwenzorn for the final Pfyffer Tagwacht and bidding each other farewell.
